Award winning local community enterprise and registered charity as
seen on BBC Breakfast! We train and employ long term unemployed. Computers
are refurbished and given free of charge to voluntary groups, charities and

We are a registered chairty aiming to increase the number of refurbished
computers being reused overseas and increase the number of UK organisations
donating their used IT equipment for reuse overseas. We identify and work
with those organisations in recipient countries able to derive maximum value

We donate to charities by reprocessing disused
IT equipment whilst preventing wasteful and toxic disposal to landfill. We
provide refurbished equipment at low cost to the disadvantaged (e.g. disabled
or aged) and to lower income organisations or individuals and export to poorer
countries. Ecochip UK CIC is a signatory of London Remade and uses recycled
products only in its own operation and operates paperless wherever possible.

There is sometimes a minimal charge to businesses and households outside
a 5 mile radius simply to recover transportation costs or breaking
down into raw materials where necessary. Any charges depend upon recyclable

We are a social enterprise training and employing long term unemployed. All equipment
is tested and items suitable for reuse are diverted from landfill (distribution
to voluntary sector organisations, small start up businesses and disadvantaged
members of community). All old and broken equipment including CRT monitors
are recycled in full compliance with EU WEEE regulations. We are a member of

A specialist computer recycling company where old or broken hardware
is disassembled into metal, circuit boards, cabling, plastics – all of which
is
recyclable. Working systems are donated to schools or charities.
We accept - any equipment broken or working, old or new. Some of our customers actually prefer older kit, for example, the refining company that buys circuit boards prefers these because quantities of precious metals are greater. We accept mainly from businesses.

We are a registered charity providing computer equipment to people with
a physical or sensory impairment living in Wiltshire. Computers are upgraded

We are a charity providing computer literacy in developing countries.
All donated computers are wiped of all data, refurbished or recycled, and shipped.
We have organisations in the recipient countries that distribute and maintain
the equipment. We have projects running in Tanzania and Ghana. Please see our

4. Pass IT On
Pass IT On is a registered Scottish charity.. We adapt
donated IT equipment to suit the needs of individuals with a wide range of
disabilities who live in the EH postcode area. Clients are given their bespoke
systems at cost price (often free). All surplus or unserviceable equipment
is either sold to raise funds for the charity, given to other similar charities
or recycled.
We accept - Computer equipment
although we can only take Macs if we have a specific need. Base units do not
have to be working and we also accept individual components, speakers and scanners.
Monitors and printers must be working, we also accept computer desks.
There is a minimum specification of equipment we can accept, please see our
website for further information. We also take used toner / ink cartridges (not
Epson or Olivetti) for recycling and used stamps. Donations of paper – used
on one side / obsolete headed stationery are also very welcome.
